what do u guys think a good set of rims are? besides hipers because money is tight for me and i cant afford that. i have itp rims now that came on the bike when i bought it. they are really weak and extremly crappy. dont hold air for a dam. id like some kind of bead locks if i could find some used ones or i was checking out the douglas red label rims. i ride really aggressive trails and am racing hare scrambles next year. i sort of like the stockers because i know thier farely strong. i will jsut be getting a set of back rims as of right now because the front ones are doing fine. any who, give me some opinions on what you think.

i think the ones i have are the t-9 pro wheels or somthing like that. the front ones are ok but the rears are horrible. the edge of the rim is extremely weak and dents in when it hits anything.

rmz250 i dont know what your problem is if your trying to be funny or your just a moron but stay out of my thread..

Instead of getting the Hipers, save up for them. You'll be glad you did if you're racing XC. Or just settle for some aluminum beadlocks that are used.

i dont see what could be so bad about them. I have douglas red label fronts and rears and I just had to replace one of the rears about a month ago and I have done two XC races since then and the bead is already broke in one spot. Just get these wheels in the link because they are the same metal as red labels expect they have the ring.

im a fan of the ITP T-9 bajas. thell take a lot IMO. i have hit just about every object you can think of with mine and there still in great shape. there also price very affordably, mine were somethign like $82 bucks a piece frome hellbound. i dont think beadlocks are that nescesary. unless your racing very competatively, there just another thing to blow money on. 90% of the people who have beadlocks dont need them.

look around or ebay... or even better, theres some deals on here on the parts section.

remember if ur running a z400, honda wheels will work too. but just be sure to check before buying with the seller about the lug pattern. but yeah, just look in both sections. ive seem some decent deals...

..also.. hellbound has REALLY good deals on rims/tires from leftovers of extras they had for the race season... i was in there like a month ago and they had stacks of sweet rims/tires.

give them a call, they are all good people

My vote goes to the ITP bajas. For one they are 1/2 the price of hipers and they can take a lot of crap.

what are those rims that Pappy can get, I think they are Burgard beadlock rims. They are not to expensive and hold up relly well from what I hear. Send him a PM or ask him about them in the BK section
