I am thinking about buying a new quad.I don't race, just trail ride and ride mx tracks just for fun.If you had to pick a new quad for riding like I do what would you get?
450r..but according to your sig, you already got one. maybe a raptor700?

It sounds like a z400 would be perfect, not to much power, reverse, e start, good suspension

Yeah I forgot to mention I do have a 450r and it's great.Just looking for something different..................the 700r is in the back of my mind though.

no question a 700r. I sat on one at the dealership the other day and ive never feel so comfy on a stock quad. I cant wait to ride it and test out the suspension and motor in action. z400 is pointless if you have a 450r (except it has reverse). Ask 5punks how he likes the 700

the 700raptors are really nice. the seat like most said is super comfy. when i rode my friends it felt really nice. it had so much torque throughout the gears i couldnt belive it.
if not the raptor then mabye a predator or a kfx700?

You can always look into a 250r if you decide not to buy a ute.

i really like my eiger. some real nice features, good power, good price, super plush and comfy and i think they look nice. i think on of them and a z400.400ex.450r is the perfect set.

Agree.. you want a LOT more torque on a 4x4. I wouldn't even consider anything below a 600cc.

Really??I did do a little more research after I got home and the Rancher only has 5.9" of wheel travel.
The comparable Arctic Cat 400 has 10" but man does that thing look top heavy :eek2:
Hell,if I can't make up my mind right now I'll just keep my money in my pocket

Get a new polaris outlaw. You got the ground clearance of a ute, with the performance of a sport quad.

the efi should adjust fuel flow automatically.........
If I were to buy a 4x4 quad it would definately have a solid rear axle. The IRS machines are verry tippy. Hell, I have even flopped the rhino over.
