Trying to get rid of the bucking. Do you think I need a new spring? I weigh 170 to 180 lbs. and I am planning on purchasing the GT Thunder Link and revalve of stock shock. I ride desert and some motocross with 40 to 50 foot doubles.
thanks

If you get the whole package, linkage and revalve you should only have to dail it in to your style and the buck should be gone. I have derisi's setup which I beleive using gt's link or the same one pretty much.

call jh racing www.j-hracing.com

get the gt link and have him do a dual rate conversion on your shock. Its just as good as a standard travel elka rear end

thanks for the input. It looks like I will be staying with the stock spring.

GT Thunder revalve and linkage will fix the whole problem, he will put new springs on it for no preload, make it a way better shock then stock :macho

A guy here in Missouri had the stock shock revalved and the GT Thunder Link Instaled and his quad sat like a low rider and rode like a Caddy. That stock shock set up right WILL work excelent. This guy is no joke either. He was 2nd over all in Missouri in 2004 and races the A class in the GNCC's. He said he was shocked at how well it acctually worked. He is still putting his Rear Elka on when it gets done(by GT Thunder) but the stocker worked great. He won the race I was at by over 30 seconds.

yep, and with the rear shock he uses progressive valving, making his rear better then everyone elses, including axis, being instead of wasting travel with a no preload spring he uses his no preload with progressive valving, so you still get the same affect without losing shock travel

Call them both up and talk to them about what they're going to do to it. I believe GT Thunder will be cheaper. But find out from them which would be better for you.

THANKS! I have axis fully adj. fronts& comp. adj rear on my o3 400ex. AXIS said i needed longer shafts, different springs, new bodies and revalved,to make them work right. I can sell them now to a friend and get the stockers reworked. What do you think?
