400ex pipes?

What pipes do you think are best, talkin bout just slip on for now, not the full system. I think that white brothers e series is pretty good for the price, but if you have other suggestions lets here em. Also one other question, is the k and n air filter worth the price, and if so what is it gonna do for the bike.

My suggestion would be too read the second thread down in this section. It will give you 20+ pages of responses to what pipe is best for a 400EX. A lot of it comes down to what you want to spend though, and how you want it to sound. Almost every pipe will give you a noticeable power gain, some just more than others. As for the K&N, I definately think it's worth the money. If you have more air going out of the engine through a high-flow exhaust, why not have more air going in?
