06 hrc kit questions

Finally, my HRC kit for my 06 450r arrived. I have installed everything except for the cam today (due to a broken torque wrench). I took it out for a spin with my friend who has a 06 yfz450 w/ sparks intake, and full exhaust. His bike would take me by atleast 4 bike lengths when I was stock, we raced various times today and 3 out of 4 times I beat him by atleast 1 bike length, and I havent even installed the cam yet. So im super happy

My question is, is the cam installation from the 04/05 the same as the 06. Because I downloaded the service manual for the 04/05, and have been reading up on the hrc kit install in the engine faq. Should I use that as a guide? or should I order the service manual for the 2006.

Also what jetting are you guys running with the full hrc kit on the 06. I know the jet it comes with is a 162 main, but I read in the performance faq forum in the jetting thread that full hrc kit should run a 185 main.

I think the service manual is always good to have and if anything it will help. If you are looking at buying one, let me know and I am willing to throw some money in for one.

Tripyn, i might just wait for the 2006 service manual to become available online. They have the 2004/2005 manual on trx450r.org I downloaded that one for now.

The 185 is for the 04,05 engine all specs for installation are the same; torque, alignment etc.
