what was the first year that the 5.0 mustangs were fuel injected. and as it throttle body injection or port efi

I'm guessing port, I don't think they would put it in the throttle body. If i'm not mistaken, the 86-93 pretty much had the same style stock intakes.??????????????

yep,same style intake...i think the '86 has a smaller throttle body opening though :confused:

they are port injected. the injectors go into the the lower manifold

in that case is there any difference between the 86-93 5.0 and the 94-95 5.0

yes, there are some differances between those years. very subtle, but there are

First year for fuel injection on the Fox body 5.0's was 1985 1/2, the last couple months of 85 were fuel injected, then from then untill they stopped production in the Mustang, the last year was 95.

85 1/2-95 the intakes all looked the same.

the 94-95 intakes had an elbow on the left hand side. All the years before that, the intake was straight.
