Do you have to get a different intake to install an FCR39 on a 440EX. The stock intake is slightly to big. Also what jets would be a good starting point. 440 with stage 2 cam, K&N, White Brothers E-Series slip on, riding at Glamis.
Thanks

You might need an adapter, Sudco (http://www.sudco.com/) sells them. Adapter page (http://www.sudco.com/catalog105/090-091.pdf)

I need an adapter for the intake not the airbox. Thanks for the info.

Whoops, I should have read closer, that's very odd that it won't fit. I put a 39mm FCR on my 400 and it fit like a glove?? Are you certain it's a 39, what size KTM did it come off of?

Hmm, interesting. I've taken an FCR off of a YFZ and put it on my 400, but I had the opposite problem. The intake boot was a little too small! I did manage to get it to fit though.

The airbox-to-carb boot was too short, so I had to fab up an extention for it, but that was no biggie.
