Give him about a year or two and he should be fine,I am 13 and my yfz fits me fine at 5,3.

Just pick up a YFZ in like 2 weeks and slap a bigger throttle limiter on it and some 18 inch tires if they don't come with them stock and he's ready to go!:cool:
