Im hungry for more power lol, what can i do?

Right I have an hmf slipon, jetted, uni filter, lid off and a stage 1 hotcam. What else can be done for more power, without boring, or gettin a piston?

K i never even thought about a timing key, i guess ill get one now.

Im kinda contemplating a high comp piston though.....but i dont trust myself installing one because ive never done it, so i would have to have a guy i know, put it in for me. What else would be needed along with the piston? And with an 11:1 and a timing key i would need race gas right? Where do you get race gas..do u have to order it?

if you put your own cam it you have done the hard part a piston is an easy job if you can put a cam it

yah i did the cam myself, but i had some instructions to guide me.

What else would i need to do to my engine when i put a piston in?

I dono if I am 100% correct heare. but here goes.

I would thing that you would have to hone the cylinder when you instal a new piston. Also new rings at the same time, thus having to re-break in the engine.

Also mabie thin gaskets is an obtion.. why not bore? while it is apart how hard is it really to get a 416? I have a 416 and it rips pretty good, I think it has thin gaskets and 10.8:1 comp ratio, I have to run 93/c-12 mix. I can run 93 if I ride it melow, like trail ride. but when I try to mash on it for long periods of time, like a race with 93 it starts to knock.

an aftermarket cdi is a good buy. seems gt thunder is the way to go, I have wite bros and dont see a problem with it but I gues the gt thundter is better..

geez why the cylinder is beeing bored or w/e they do to it, why not have the head ported and oversize valves installed?

btw at the races with this engine I have plenty of power to keep up with mildly moded 450's. I dont lose on the straits to to bad. but in the air I drop like a rock where's they are lighter and go alot higher.
