ok maybe a 250r want smoke a banshee, but they are cheeper to upgrade. I just really like 250rs. I owned a 96 banshee for 8 years and it was a awsome bike that hardly ever gave my any trouble, never left my stranded. I mostly trail ride and three years ago I bought a 250r and loved the smother wider powerband. Just my 2 cents.

Out of those choices, I'd get either the new Raptor 700 or the 450R. It all depends on what feels more comfortable to you and what you prefer. Test ride both of them, it's the only way you'll make the right decision.

2 stoke for trails? i guess just bring a couple of spark plugs and some gas:rolleyes:

you want a 4 stoke for trails,2 stokes like to be wide open an (im guessing) your trails are like mine tight and twisty, get a thumper,as far as which one sit on em, ride em, test em, what ever feels better to YOU is the one you want,,,,thats what i did and i ride an R,,if i was going for a sticktly duner,,,yea 2 stokes rule the dunes, cant argue that

If you have wide open trails or ride dunes the Banshee can't be beat for sheer HP and acceleration.

Tight trails you might want Raptor or 450

I have never ridden a 250R but their legendary

250R's make great trail bikes, especially for tight trails, all kinds of wheel spin to wiggle in and out of spots. If you can ride halfway decent, it will be very rare that you foul a plug. They aren't as good with fuel consumption but you won't care, you'll be having too much fun. The downside of th 250R is the age, sure you can find really clean ones, but it's hard to tell what your getting. Motor wise, you can tear it down and rebuild it pretty easily, it's just a matter of the frame quality, since I believe some of them had the problem of rusting from the inside out. It's a tough decision, lots of great machines to choose from, good luck!

if you want all out speed then get the banshee they will make the most hp and speed out of all of them. thier not very known for the handling and suspention though. they also have hardly no low end.

the 250r and 450r are both great quads. they both can be upgraded easily and can be made fast. Both handle great and would be good for you if your every in a tight trail or ever needing some low end.

i havent heard many replies on the new raptor but of the few ive heard people seemed to really like them
