you posted this in the 250r section, what do you think people will answer?!?

but for me, the choice is clear : 250r all the way!!!

best handling and lightest quad ever made (ok the lt250r was lighter, but handling sucked), infinitely upgradable power delivery, you can get any type of suspension for it, they are the easiest quad to work on (2 stroke motors are much more simple than 4 stroke) and they are very reliable if well taken care of. Wheelies are a little harder than on 4 stroke, because their is less torque avalaible at low rpm. but when you get used to it, you can pull wheelies all the time if you want. Mine can pull 4th and 5th gear wheelies on it's own when it grabs traction. Plus, they are really cheap these days.

BUT, buying a used 250r is risky, you can get a pos or a really good quad...

i would also take a 250r, just because you can pick one up that is completely reworked and has a awesome suspension for the price of a new stock 450r.

Either of the hondas are a good choice, I'd pick the 250R for fun factor. I had a raptor and still have a shee, the raptor was to heavy and bulky. The shee is fun but will wear you out faster then the hondas

go with the 250r , there so much fun to ride , not to mention extremely light and easy to whip around . The 450r's IMO are highly overrated  Raptors suck , they break alot and are heavy , banshees handling is about as good as a lawnmower. As for wheelies , you can pull it up in any gear if you get good at it

If you want all those its a 450r. If you get a 450r it will be pretty much new and you don't have to worry about 20 year old parts so it will be more reliable and easier to maintain and wheelie all day. And there are a lot of parts for them. Every place is starting to stop making 250r parts. And of course it is fast and reliable.

i too would go with the 250r they are easier IMO to maintain than a fourstroke. I think that they handle better than the 450 and are miles ahead of the yami's I can wheelie mine in any gear i want.

alright. i love my 250r to death.... but i did have a raptor once upon a time, and id have to go with a raptor for trails on this one. its got the 660, and since the trails are wide, u dont have cornering problems. and u can ride wheelies forever on it too. i coudl fly thru the trails round 90... not safe, but it can be done.

i've seen some wicked xc 250r's before. But i'd have to say go with a 4-stroke. i think the power of a 4-stroke isn't so abrupt compared to a 2-stroke, which is, in my opinion, more controllable for trails. I doubt anyone is flying down trails around 90, i guess it was just to emphasism.
