I dont know whats wrong with my computer, but whenever i try to open yahoo messenger, it pops up then closes in a split second...and i just download quicktime, and i tried to open it and it did the exact same thing, it opened real fast, then closed again. Im not sure but i think some adjustments are out of whack or somethin, but i have no clue what to do.....anyone have any suggestions?

help plzzzz

HP pavilion, with windows XP

everything used to work, till a few weeks ago when yahoo messenger started closing when i tried to open, and ive re-installed it and it does the same thing, and i just got quicktime and it does it also.

Go to my computer,right click it, properties, hardware,device manager and then tell me if there is any yellow question or exclamation marks.

Yeah, if you feel like dealing with idiots in India.. :rolleyes:

Scan your comp for viruses and spyware. I'd say thats your best bet. If not, system restore.

and then go to download.com and search for lavasoft and download aware 1.06 and run that. it may fix it
