what exactly is honda silicon spray for?

Its a general light lubricant like WD-40. WD-40 has a lot more uses though. All silicone sprays are pretty much the same so the fact that Honda makes it doesn't make it anything special.

spray some on your fenders before you go riding. The mud will just fall right off.

wd-40 is better in my opinion. you can do everything with it.

yep works better the wd-40 for mud off fenders.
silicon is the best stuff for plastic and rubber - and works good for all other general lube jobs.

wd 40 cleans kinda good to and adds rust pertection
