250 not runnin!

I dont know what is the matter w/ my 250. Today i put gas into it and it didnt start, so I gave it 5 min. and it started right up. I rode it for like 5 min. and i got off for about 30 min. I tried to start it back up and it wouldnt go. so i pop started it goin down a hill and rode it wide open back home. I was racin around the yard and noticed it was really strong, it would bring the fornt end up a lot easier than usuall and i went to get gloves cause its cold and it poped and stalled. I tried to kick it and it wouldnt start! I am getting really mad at this! I am goin ridin tomorrow and i would like to have it fixed by then. thanks!

what color is the spark plug?

yea, it burns oil, and the plug is black, im guessin from oil, cause i have the stock jets in

If you're running a FMF Megamax2 Full system and a K&N filter w/ stock jets.. you probably burned up your rings. That's why your burning oil, and it's hard to start.

ok, i just rode it today and it got it nice and warm (started it by pulling it around) and i rode for a good 30 min. I shut it down and gave it like 2 sec. and i tried to start and it started, 2nd kick, so i left it go for 30 sec, and it wouldnt start at all! we pulled it around it started and it ran fine and idled and everything. but it still wouldnt start after being shut off!! idk whats wrong!! any help is apreciated greatly!

It is probably the jetting, and after not having it jetted right you burnt your rings up. Just an idea, but it is where I would start.

well, i jetted it, but im pretty sure its the rings and no compression, thanks alot everyone!
