2001 Scrambler 500 *4x4*

Looking to sell outright or trade. 2001 Scrambler 500 4x4 with over $2500 in aftermaket parts and new parts. Clutch set up is a couple months old and just about everything else is a month or so old.

- HPD primary clutch
- HPD purple secondary clutch
- Aggressor clutch kit
- Super Button Kit
- Performance belt
- K&N filter
- MSR handle bars
- Fox Racing suspension
- New Mudshark rear tires on Black Label Douglas rims
- New Bearclaw front tires on ITP rims
- New Swing arm bearings and seals (complete rebuild)
- New A arm bearings
- Newer Drive Shaft
- Newer front 4x4 boots, seals, ect.
- Plastic on quad has normal scratches from trail riding
- Newer chain
- Newer sprockets

Quad Runs very good and fast!!! Perfect clutch set up for all around riding. May trade depending on what you have..No dirtbikes or anything small!!! Quad is located just outside of the Pittsburgh area.

Still may take trades depending on what you have.. 400ex (not stock though), Raptor, Z400, yfz, 450r, ect. Not real picky. Let me know what you have for trade.

This Scrambler will go literally everywhere. 4x4 is a nice option to have but yet still have the sport side and FAST! Front end picks up on this very easily. Tires and rims alone cost close to $500.

Works great for plowing snow let alone riding in the snow!!!

$2000..sry thats way to low! You couldnt even find a 2x4 Scrambler with what I have on mine for that price. Im not looking for a fortune at all, just looking for a reasonable amount. Kelly Roger's blue books this quad at $3610 STOCK!!! Not including everything thats been done to it. I am aware I wont get anything over blue book price even with whats done to it, so make an offer thats reasonable!

aftermarket parts ad nothing to your overall value or a quad, ask some of the people selling 20 grand YFZ's for 6500.00 if aftermarket's add value, if retail is 3610.00 then 2500.00 would be a good place to start

Yes, I completely understand aftermarket items add little value to your quad but does in most cases help sell them faster.

As for $2500, NO. Scramblers are very popular around our area. Especially now all 4x4's are wanted in the area for the snow. Just last night we got several inches.

I would like to get $3500 O/B. I would also be interested in a trade for another quad. Im willing to work on the price somewhat. I dont need to get rid of this quad by no means, just figured I would try to sell since this is when 4x4 are popular.

I agree w/ bombsquad54, I wouldn't expect to get $3500 or even close to that out of your scrambler. In the past month I have ran across 2 scramblers, same year, 500, etc..., very good condition, both were asking around $2500. the only reason I didn't buy one is because by the time i had called, they had both been sold. Also I thought that before you said that you HAD to sell this 4wheeler, because you needed the money for a new quad, and now you are saying that you dont have to sell it? I'm not trying to bust your bubble, or tell you what to do, I just think that with your asking price you will be sitting on it for a long long time.

What im saying is I found a cheaper quad I would like to have. I dont get out to ride all that much during the winter months. But, I dont want to take a huge lose on this Scrambler. I bought it for $2995 and put alot of money into it. I am willing to move around with the price but will not sell for $2500. A local dealer offered me $2620 for a trade in. They didn't have anything at the time I wanted so I passed. I may go $3000 but that would be the absolute lowest.

Man, even 1999 Scrambler 500 4x4 stock are selling in my area for $2700. This is the only site Ive tried selling at so far and I think Im in the wrong place.
