Guys,

I have an 05 450r with a warranty and I am affraid to do any aftermarket parts because I have been told it will void it. If I remove the baffle on the end of the tailpipe will it help any? If I do that what else should I expect to tweak to make sure it runs right?

I had a Street bike and threw a V&H slip on on it and never jetted it, I never had any problems and it ran great. I read a lot of threads here that are always suggesting to rejet after a slipon, is this true? What will happen if I don't rejet if I decide to go the Slip on route?

Thanks for your help!!!

I have an 04 as it say's in my sig with all my aftermarket parts.

I was told since they put the internal mod's on I am warrenty'd n/p. I no longer have warrenty through the dealer on any of the aftermarket parts, which can be expected.

i took off my baffle and felt alittle more tork but later realized maybe it was the loader sound but i definatly realized a power loss no back pressure

When I took out the baffle on mine I also removed the airbox lid and rejetted. I def felt that the bike had more low end.
