i got a good deal on some elka triple rate that are vavled for mx and are zero preload and +2 a -arms for the front. My rear shock is a single rate dual adjust axis that is vavled for xc/ trail riding, and needs to be rebuilt. my question is what is better to do set the axis up with zero preload when it is being rebuilt to match the front? i ride trails hard some track hope fully this up coming spring and some dunes. i talked to a local guy and he recommended just rebuilding and the revalve for mx on the rear, and adjust the level of the quad with the elka front, makes sense if they are valved the same. he went into detail about seeing guys with the rear siting to low and etc., riding harsh. i was just curious if anyone has been down this road before?:ermm:
