Alright, im not new to riding, ive done a few races but now im getting into it serious. I dont have the money for a 450r. i just bought a banshee with some motor mods but now i have to get suspension and such all setup before the season starts in late january.
The bike already has:
-Cool head
-V-force reed valves
-FMF fatty pipes with turbine core silencers
-boost bottle
-FMF advanced cdi
-K&N with outerwears
-Razr Holeshots
-DG nerfs
-Kill switch
-renthal bars
-front and rear DG alloy series bumper/grab bar

Now what type of suspension and such do i need to get to become competitive on the track... cheaper stuff that gets the job done. thanks to all the replies

I'm going with lonestar +2 +1 aarms on mine with elkas or stock yfz shocks.

a shorter swingarm is a good mod for mx. along with wider aarms and shocks.

i need to do this pretty cheap, that way when i do have all the sspension i can upgrade to the better stuff gradually... so i was thinking +2+1 fullflight a-arms($349.00 on ebay). 2+2 G-force Axle($199.99 on RM) and YFZ shocks(ebay about $150-200)
Can anyone please let me know the installation steps to putting on yfz shocks? Or do they bolt right up? Would i need a revalve if i ran +2 arms with them?

From what I understand the yfz shocks just bolt right up, I've seen it done before :)

ive also seen the yfz shocks on shee;s before but would you have to revalve? I was thinkin about gettin the yfz shocks before the a-arms so would i have to revalve? do they even fit the stockers, there looks like there might be clearance issues with the top arm

full fight a-arms and a G-force will work fine for you if your a first year racer. i bought a Gforce on my 450 and was launching 80ft+ gaps with it for about a year until it snapped i think it will do you fine, get a nice aftermarket rear shock cuz banshees are ****, and go with a stabilizer
