Im 16 and my dads friend owns lawncare buisness. Im mechanic and get 7 an hour, which isnt bad seeing i get 30 hours a week and i dont do too much hard work. In the winter im a supervisor for snowplowing shovelers and make 20 an hour. I am going to try to open my own Powersports buisness because the past couple months I have been working on all kinds of different things ( from polaris, 450rs, and 300ex,s to Katanas and cr125's) and made some decent money. Didnt even charge much because they were my friend but i made like 300 buck profit off of restoring an 87 warrior. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't even know if I still have my job anymore .... they hired all new staff , but never sent me my layoff papers or any backpay/vacation pay.

But if I still do have my job , I'm an Assistant Manager for a large Snowmobile and ATV aftermarket parts and accessories store up here in Ontario Canada . We're the largest store of this nature here in Canada !!!

I do what most every assistant manager does .... push papers around and make sure people get their chit on time .... I'm also the one they come and complain to when they don't like something . YAY !!!!!:grr:

I plan on going to get my Helicopter Pilot License as soon as possible !!!!

Well I'm in college right now, so don't have a "real" job at the moment. In high school I sheared X-mas trees and then worked for my g/f's dad's trucking company, J. Bauer Trucking. I was pretty much the main man on the docks as far as loading/unloading trailers, and otherwise did simple stuff like oil changes, tires, and washed trucks. On weekends when I go back home I usually wash trucks one day to at least have a little jing in my pocket...

I am a Land Surveyor and a Civil Engineer. We mainly survey property and design developments. I am currently a field crue chief, and when the weather really sucks, I am an autocad draftsman. I also find a lot of places to ride this way.

Own my own landscape business. 80% landscape construction 20% lawns. I am solo and work my *** off. I guess it pays off though, since in 2 weeks i am done working untill mid march.

I am still considering getting a winter job. I just need to find something that pays atleast 11-12 an hour. Its just hard to find work when you try to be honest and tell the people you only need work for 3 months. If i get a job paying any less then that it ain't worth working. No point in making 300 or less a week after taxes. I make more then that in a day landscaping. Sometimes twice that. I figure i'll just spend the winter planning for next year. Working on my advertising plan and stuff like that.

I do Ultrasonic inspection on Rolls Royce aircraft engine parts at a local testing lab. I get to sit beside a large tank of water, set up scans and stare at screens for 10-12 hours a day! Thank God most of the parts are Titanium, makes handling them much easier! One part can take 4-8 hours to inspect... Yep, my butt is getting bigger! :p My company makes about $80/hr for each part we test, but hmmm.... We make MUCH less than that in wage!
