View Full Version : Denton steering stabilizer mount??

Can anyone show me a picture or tell me where and how to mount my denton steering stabilizer. I bought it off ebay and Im not certain where it mounts.

Here is a pic of my R in progress.

Nice Arens frame. It looks a lot better than mine.:D

On my friend's '86 frame the Denton mounted on the upper bar for the front bumper and then to the steering stem . You should be able to do it the same.

here's a closeup of a 400ex mount...this should get you close. Check for right/left steering play before you tighten it to find the sweet spot.

Mine is mounted to the cross brace that is behind the steering stem.....the brace runs from one frame rail to another under the gas tank.....then no one know your even running a dampner and it doesn't get all the mud and slop either....and you can reach it while sitting on the bike....

mine runs to the right side motor mount.... but its a pep, not a denton.

Thanks everyone. I'll see if I can get it mounted up tonight.

The frame didnt look so good when I got it Japan. Sent it on a little trip to BK Performance and Pappy worked his magic.

He has my a-arms now .. so I should have a rolling chassis in the near future.
