I know people have done this conversion before but I am having trouble with the forward bolt on the brake caliper hitting the swing arm. I am using all 250r parts but when I try to put the bolt in to tighten up 250r caliper to the 250r caliper bracket the swing arm on the 400ex doesnt allow the bolt to slide through the hole. Anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Randy

Do you have the 250R brake stay?

Yes I'am using a 250r brake stay. All 250r parts except for the stock 400ex swingarm. Thinking about having the front hole in the brake stay welded up and drilling a new hole so the bolt clears the swingarm. I thought this was a direct bolt on conversion, for some reason it just doesnt line up right.
