A few years ago I use to be on this site everyday all day.If I

wasnt riding I was here learning.Ive been on this site since I was

14 roughly 15 years old on various names.Ive moved from NY to

Ohio and still kept up with racing and riding by this place. Some

people thought I was a *** and others thought I was nice,but

the last few years I have learned allot. So if I have came off to

any of you concided.Im sorry this is the new me. I

fell off in 2003 stopped racing an riding and trying to presue my

dream.I got cocky ....I got hurt. I was about 17 when that

happend...my mom got sick with cancer and I couldnt go on..Im

now 20 and the time is right..And I want the honest truth...Am I

too old to make it to the pros??Ill be starting all over I know what

to do ive just got to do it.If I put my nose to the grind

stone and try my hardest practice as much as I can,is it to late?Is

20 to old to try one last time?

Ive now got the money for my new quad,And ive got the time to

do it.

Thank You for all of you who read this..And any replies.

Well I think your a little before my time haha. But if you have the tallent and the will to get into the pros, I see no reason why you can't do it.

You could make it when your 40, it all depends on your skill and you phisical health.IMO

if you practiced for 2 years straight you could make it. My friend matt maximoff is a pro dirt bike rider and he quit for two years hten came back. He trained his *** off but is climbing up and i guess factories are showing a little interest in him.

Yea I have been through a few rough times in the past few years. And my cockieness got me no where but hurt and having people around me not liking me.But ive learned over the last 2 years of being out of the game. it has tought me to respect everything you have and give everyone else around you the respect you would expect for yourself. The only talent I have is on that quad.Thats the only thing I can think about.I dream about it.Ive had people tell me not to waste my time. But to me its not a waste of time,Ive gotten BROKE racing have had 3 surgerys and I dont want it all to be in vain and for nothing.I want to make something of myself and do it while chasing down a dream of something I love to do and have done my whole life.

The local pro made it to the pro ranks in just 4 or 5 years of riding/racing...

Anythings possible, My dream is to become a pro but I dont have the income to do it yet..

I kinda remeber you, didn't you have a moto 440?

rookiex

thats awesome, if you wanna be a pro then just go for it, pratice, get out and race and give it your all.

Sponsors play a huge part once you start to get in the nationals, it gets expensive

How do you go about gettin sponsors.I figure a tape some pictures and most of all some results.

Mxjunkie

Pratice alot, go out to the races and raise hell, Coming to your first race and placing well, then backing it up from there really raises some eyebrows, send your results to some shops tell them you really want to use them for parts and spread the word about them.

I find shops to be the best sponsors, the big companys will give you like a 10% off gear but a shop can help you with your bike and parts, gear.

anytime man,

I ride my bike around town to keep my stamina up and I try and run around a little. It makes a big differnce in how long you can ride for, you can put alot of money into a quad, but if your not up to the game it wont matter!

eh who knows maybe we'll both go pro or atleast one of us lol

Too old?......probably not

Think about Doug Eichner, multiple WORCS Championships(witnessed one this season), Baja Champion, Pont de Vaux Champion...and the list goes on.....and he's 43

No harm in trying at least

thats what im thinking too.I know I got the build for it 180lb 6'0.And I got the heart.I just need the seat time and relearning everything again plus perfecting it.I dont want to look back on my life and think what could of been, I wanna look back and think ''look what this hard work got me'' even if I dont reach the top I want to give it a hell of a shot.
