I dont have much money since I got fired from my job, today while riding I noticed my tire has 2 gashes in the sidewall.

Anyway of fixing it, I took this picture in the process of taking it off so I know its missing a lug nut.

ouch, thats pretty bad. your gonna have to take the tire off the rim and patch it from the inside. no plug is gonna work on that. is it all the way through the tire? if not, you may be able to use an good epoxy and a little heat to patch it up a bit

and another thing josh, flip the tires over so your lugs dont start to curve one way...keeps good even treadwear

call some tire shoppes in your area to see if any vulcanizes it is the best for the side wall. what is is they melt new rubber to the tire and will last forever.

Zip ties will hold that together no problem! :D I'd suggest going with what Splatter Matter said, they can "patch" them pretty good. You can always get inner tubes....

This would be the best fix :)

I've had two tires do that and had them both vulcanized.....haven't had a problem since.

Agree with the vulcanization.

Slime won't help with a ripped sidewall (once it gets all the way through). I run slime in all 4 tires. It works great. I have not had a flat in 4 years outside of a broken bead.
