I love doing it on a bike, if **** hits the fan I can lay it over lol

Bike- lay over; quad- roll/flip all the way down.

I would much rather climb a steep hill on a dirtbike, you can just lay them down and slide down the hill where the quad if you don't make it, its coming down on ya!! Also with a quad you have to hit two ate up ruts with roots sticking out etc. where on a bike you can pick a little spot and shoot right up it without hitting on the ruts.

yeah i would deff like climbing hills on quads do to the fact of them easily being layed down then slid back down the hill. Where with a quad it would be sliding back down upstide down and on top of you

only because im more comfortable on a quad

A Quad cause you can just hit the front brake and slide down

I ride quads only, but from riding with guys on bikes alot and seeing them ride up hills that are nearly striaght up I would have to say bikes are the best for hills. Plus the fact that you can lay them down and get away from them easier than a 4 wheel quad tumbling back down at you :D

not that easy. some of the hills ive pulled theres almost no in the world you can just slide down. theres rocks, roots, off camber spots, ect. not as simple as just sliding down.

You coast down backwards some of the hills I've climbed on a bike that are inverted! Cliffs that you can't even climb up on hand and foot. That would be ugly on a quad! Bikes no doubt, you jump off to the side and slide it back down.

There is no way in hell I would even attempt some of the hills I used to do on my ATK406 (400cc 2 stroke:devil: dirtbike ) or my bros. KX500 that I would on my 250R!!! I am comfortable on both too, probably more on my R since I have had more seat time on it. My brother and I have literally shot up straight up hills that you would imagine to be impossible and people just stare at us like we're *ucking nuts!!!! I love that feeling!!!!!

well hill climbing on a 4 wheeler is just a bigger challenge than on a dirt bike

Dirtbike for sure.
Some of the big nasty hills scare the crap out of me on my 330ex, with it's very short wheelbase.. lol. You're riding a wheelie 3/4 of the way up the hill, lol. Granted it's a lot easier on my buddies 250r w/ a +2 swinger on it.. lol.

Anyone who thinks you can just lock up the front brakes and slide back down the hill, hasn't gone up the same hills we have.. lol. It's not just difficult, it's impossible. Some hills only way down is for it to roll, or lower it down with a rope, or turn the quad around 180 and ride it down (but sometimes that's not even possible).

No way man, They sayd a steep hill, Like we climb a hill that is about 15-20 ft tall at King City Dirt Riders in Illinois and from where the hill starts at from the bottom is only about 1.5-2.5ft feet out from the top of the hill.

I would rather climb a DIRT hill on bike, But i would rather climb a hill with loose rock,or sand on a quad.

It is hard for me to explain which one I like better because I climb nasty hills on my quad for the fun of it ( I go looking for them)

When I had my dirtbike I climbed some really really steep hills with it because it was easier to control 1 wheel vs 2 in the front.

I climbed hills where I couldn't if I was on my dirtbike on my quad.

and

I climbed hills that i couldnt climb on my quad that I did on my dirtbike...

But it depends on what kind of bike you have. I had a yz125 it was sweet :)

from my experience the best hill climbing atvs are
Banshee, YFZ450, LT-250r , Honda 250r, 400ex, Warrior, Mojavo (sp) 300ex ------ and I have to say if your climbing hills the honda 250ex is the worse it has enough power to get you in trouble, but not enough power to get you out.
