i found a grab bar brand new for the 250r but it sais its an 86. Does it matter what year its for ? I have an 88 will it work? reply quick if you can i need to know soon , thanks alot!

im pretty sure that it wont fit. i think that the mounting for the 86-87 is the same but 88-89 are different. im not positive on this but am pretty sure.

nope 86 - 87 are not the same as 88 - 89.

u can put an 86-87 bar on an 88-89 quad by drilling some extra holes in the grab bar mount..
