I gave it a try, & it kept making the spark plug come loose, & I never got it to seal right. Actually made the coolant in the over flow bottle bubble, this was with a 19cc dome also.
But I've heard of people using it and having good results also, just my .02

My cool head use gasket and I never had a problem to make it seal, but you must be very careful when torquing the cylinder head bolt

if your using a gasketed cool head then use a stock gasket and get a smaller dome

I've used a gasketed cool head with one portion of the stock gasket and a 20cc dome for about six years, never any problems. I do use Three-Bond liquid silicone sealant on the gasket when I install it (at the recommendation of Mark Baldwin from Baldwin Motorsports), never had a problem with leaking. This stuff is actually called for whenever a steel type gasket is used.

ya, i use the spray on permatex copper spray stuff, do you rub it onto the gasket by hand or use the spray?

I put it on by hand, just a very light coat, this stuff isn't like the silicone commonly used in automotive applications. It's white in color and very watery or thin. It sets up really well, just don't get carried away with it.

I have also used an ESR head with a stock gasket split in 1/3's using one of the outer pieces, and have never had one problem out of it.
