i got a white brothers e-series on the 426 and i always wondered what would happen if i take out a certain amount of the discs by the tip.I never really bothered with it before because it was running just fine for me the way it came from white brothers.
Any helpful hints as to what happens when you take maybe 5 or so discs out,and if it is a drastic improvement??

if you take out discs, it give sit more bottom end, if you add discs, it gives it more top end...i am running 8(stock is 12) on my wifes 300ex andit is still faster tan a stock 300, but it is a torque monster now(for a 300ex)....the least you can go down to is 4...with only 4 discs in, you will be very close to having the performance of a stock exhaust

i had the e series on my previous quad.the manual(if you will)stated 8 was the stock amount of discs.unless it differs from quad to quad,i dunno.

stock is 12(i used to have one to)

less disc = quieter and more torque

more disc = louder and top end

4 disc is supposed to be equal to stock

well i use no disks and is jetted perfectly. and i say it sounds killer, and has hella power. i dont think i had it jetted properly with 6 disks, and it seemed to hickup in half throttle, but who knows, i thought back-preasure is the enemy. josh
