well i got a 82 chevy truck, its a 1/2 ton, and it has 4 inchs of lift on it right now.

i was wondering if you could put the 35" boggers under it and i will get the 12inch wide ones if i do just to be safe. i just ain't sure if it is going to rub or not

or should i just go with the 33" boggers to be safer yet. but if i can i might go for the wider set of tires if i get the 33" boggers

i'd go for the 35 in a heartbeat. but eventually if i were u i'd put 4.56 gears in it.

well i am a lil short on money. well then i again i really don't got any. when i get the rest of the money to buy the tires i will have to wait untill i get more money.

and i am also paying off my 4 wheeler right now. i paying 180$ or more on that every month

They'll rub yes, and you'll probably need new wheels to because how wide they are. They're a waste on money. Don't get them if you plan on driving on the road. Unless you like loud vibrating noise constantly while you drive, or if you all about tires that wear out in 8 months.

^^^What he said. Tire noise from hell with boggers. There was a guy around here that put 31's I think on his truck and they didn't last very long at all using them on the road.

i've got 35 inch tires on my 87 GMC jimmy with a 4" lift kit and they don't rub or vibrate.

theyll fit no prob under regular driving but offroad anything bigger than a 34 will rub because the size of the wheel opening at full bump. if i were you, id drive it like it is, save for the tires, gears, rear spool and a locrite front and cut the fenders out and youll have one hell of a truck. just be careful with those axles;)

so you guys think i should just stay with 33" boggers. but if i get the wide pair you think they will rub if i turn to much. well all things come down to it i will just the 33" boggers with the 12 wide tread

Swampers are better than Boggers. HERE IT IS: Get the LTB Swamper!! 34"x10.50 - and they're only $118 each. And they won't rub..

I don't know about 35's under a 4" lift. I have a 4" suspension and 2 inch body and it works, but if your truck only has the 4".....I have a feeling its going to rub. And if you don't plan on re-gearing, I would go with the 33's.

it does matter! you have a stout engine and tires that have forward grip like no other.. say your spinning and hit solid ground or a root or something... somethings going to give... trans, t-case, d-shaft, axles, u joints etc... but with 35's it shouldnt be that bad... just if you ever go much bigger go with swampers...

but i am going with swampers. i am going with boggers. so if i can i will get the 35s in boggers. with the width being 12.5".

when people say swampers they mean TSLs boggers are called boggers...TSLS are swampers...just a useful bit of wheeling lingo. 35s WILL fit with a 4inch lift, 33s fit stock. like i said befor though...be careful with those axles. if youre truck is a 1/2 ton, you have a 10 bolt rear end and theyre not the most stout in the world.

GUYS I WORK AT NATIONAL TIRE AND WHEEL. 35 X 12.50 WILL FIT ON AN EVERY DAY STREET DRIVEN GM WITH 4" LIFT. IF YOU OFF ROAD THEY WILL RUN. THE BOGGERS COME IN 10.50 , 14.50 AND 16" WIDE. IF YOU WANT A 35" BOGGER TO OFF ROAD WITH OUT TRIMMING THE FENDERS YOU WILL NEED THE 10.50. IF YOU DON'T WANT THAT SKINNY OF A TIRE GET THE SAWSALL OUT AND MAKE THEM FIT.

lincoln lock the rear, put an extra shim in the front end so there is more friction in the side gears, it will act like a limited slip if you have an open and will not have the amount of stress of a locker.... which will come in handy with that 1/2 ton axle and boggers....
boggers = snap, crackle, pop

my friend jason has a 87 chevrolet 1500 with a 12in lift and 3in body lift and 44in boggers, he still has the stock 1/2 axles and 5.13 gears and granted he doesn't really off road with it, but he hasn't had a single problem with his axles and it's got a tru trac locker in the back.

of course he doesn't have problems if he doesn't offroad it, there's not going to be any shock loading. assuming he doesn't have a "built" motor

If U break a lincon locker U will destroy ur hole rearend.
get a cheap locker like a lock rite, or sumthin. it's worth the risk of not trashin ur rearend

All right, here goes. you can fit 35's, but I'd go with the
12 inch wide ones if you plan to drive on the road at all.
the wider tires may go better, but it will take more ooomph to
spin them cause they have more contact with the ground.
U said U got a 350 so u may be alright in the power department.
I'd also run 4.10 gears in the axles if I had a choice, but then again this is just what i'd do. it's ur truck, i'm just tryin to help
