ok my 250r is new motor wise, i finsihed breaking it in like a month agho but now when i ride it and the motor gets pretty hot (u have to ride it a while before it starts messin up) when it gets to the higher revs it wants 2 miss and sputter, and after i rode it a pretty long while it wouldnt even hardly run, it would idle fine but when u go to give it gas it would sputter and miss i was thinkin it needed a rejet cuz it is startin to get cold, but its not that much colder yet...any info is apreciated thanks, hunter.

check the plug because your likely lean with your mixture. also gap your plug a bit closer together, if you have a high compression motor (190 or better) i would go around 18 thousanths, if around 180 i would prolly go 22-26

I had a similar problem with my cr250 and it was the gap in my sparkplug. I gapped it to large and it would run alright when it was cold, but once it gets hotter it would sort of die on high rpms. Gap it smaller. thats the first thing i would try. tell us if it is any different

Go to the auto store and get a spark plug gap tool.
