I currently have a 2.5 in my senior year. Thats much better over my 1.1 I had freshman year!

Haha, There is this kid in my class who is a Genious and has a 4.5, so we told him that someone had a higher GPA than him, and that he wasn't 1st in our class, and he got pissed off and went to the principal to find out his rank in the class. Come to find out he's 3rd.

i didnt get my report card.. they felt bad for me

one of my teachers said its around a 3.2 which is amazing for the dipchit i am :devil:

is above a 4.0 even possible? I dont think it is, because an A+ doesnt help your GPA.

Yeah you can get above a 4.0 with weighted classes. Really doesn't matter though, all the school looks at it as is a 4.0.

I would let you guys know what my grades were if my teachers didnt strike. I havent been in school since somewhere around 10/15. And the bad part is we have to make up all the days we missed by removing all of our vaction days. :( Stupid teachers.

Just wait till you guys get to college. I used to think High School sucked but now I look back and that was easy beans. I had a 3.6 cumulative GPA in High School when I graduated and now at the university level I struggle for a 2.8 :o

I just want to get to grad school finally so I can stop worrying about stupid grades (which don't matter so much after that btw). :scary:

my grades are wierd i have 4 weighted grades so some hwo i get a 3.8???? with and: a, a, d,a, b,a,b oh well its sweet ive got my D (trig) up to a 94:D :eek2: :D so thats sweet and i droped one of thsoe b classes for another class and i have an A in there so ill have a 4.0+ this next nine weeks

Yeah Ill second what Nacs said about university level being a bit harder.

High school you carry pretty much all 1 credit classes, college is typically 3. Ive got 21 credits this semester and now have between a 3.8 and 3.9.

Is it hard? Not especially, you just need to put in a little extra time.

my school distrcit did away with the 4 quarter thing. instead we have six 6-week grading periods. 3 periods the first semester and 3 the second. i like it a little better because it seems to break it up a little more. oh ya i got a 3.0

I have every required class done and over with except senior english so i just have filler classes school policy that you must be enrolled in ATLEAST 5 classes to be a student so... my gpa for first trimester is a 4.0
periods:
1)P.E. Assistant.....A+
2)Recreational Games (P.E.)...A+
3)Dismissal
4)Dismissal
5)Body Building.....A+
6)Recreational Games (P.E).....A+
7)Senior English.....A+
8)Dismissal.............Lmao pretty lame isn't it.

And I don't know how other school districts run there thing but ours if you have a "zero" period where you come in and hour and 20 minutes before class and you get 4.0 on everything else you are considered a 4.25 student

1.8 this year was just horrible with non-school things so that affected my grades a lot i ussally get like 2.4 -2.6 range

wtf you brainiacs...i had a 3.0 my freshmen year, now on my junior year i have about a 1.5! This is the hardest year in school ive ever had in my life. I failed algebra 2 the first quarter, with a 67, which is really rare because i have never failed a class at the end of a grading period in my life. Plus im good at math, ive always done good, just my teacher is an idiot. He's horrible at teaching.......flat out hes not a good teacher at all, everyones failing his class, its stressin me out so bad and its drivin me crazy:mad:

in high school i had a 3.95 in high school however my sophomore year in college is going different.... c-d's in most of my classes but hopefully they will come up after finals..... Calculus II and Physics I and Engineering materials and Macroeconomics is no cake walk thats for sure... haha but o well i didnt expect mechanical engineering to be easy....:(

i have a's (about 94 or higher) in all my classes except i have an 89 in trig, an 88 in physics, and a horrible 62 in pe, only because i hurt my foot, and missed like 5 classes, and never had the time to make them up.... urgh! pisses me off so much!

i dont even no what grade im in and im only getting like 2 credits this year

Whatever I had a 3.6 total last year. My school is completly different from all of yours. We have 4 1 1/2 hour classes a day. And then after the first semester is over you switch classes. So say i have Gym Math SS and Graphic Arts (were I learned all of my Photoshoping skills.) first semester I will have things like English, Spanish, Wood Shop, Science. It is so much much better than 7 periods a day.

LOL. I see where you're coming from, but just wait until you get to college and 75% of your test has not been discussed at all in class. Then you'll realize it didnt matter how he taught!

BUT, you are in high school, so the material ought to be presented fully, and in a learnable matter. So either 1) The teachers a dueshe, or 2) He has some weird notion of preparing you for college when you're in your junior year. Go figure, right?

In my Vo-Tech auto body class, I'm top in my class with a 90. And in home school I have englich and gym both are mid 70's. I got my aceptance letter to Wyo Tech, they are mostly concerned with my auto body grades, so I just have to keep everything else decent.

i only have 13 hours a week of school and can come and go as i want.

In ohio there are accelerated classes. Im in accelerated english and Algebra 2. But i got a B in speech and environmental studies so i got like a 3.7 GPA
Last year when i was in more accelerated i had a nice 4.2
My buddy has a 4.7 GPA. All accelerated A's except Speech and Word processing ( these do not have accelerated classes)

I go to school for from 7:40-10:40 and then I go to work...if I have to work.

Its alot better than being in school till 2:40! I swear on my life if I had 6 Classes a day I would not graduate! And Last year was kinda the same, but I went to my AutoBody Class from 8:10-10:20 then I went to school from 11:35-2:40
