I have a friend that just bought a 250r atc. He want to make it a trx. Will the motor swinger...ect be able to bolt to a trx frame? I am not sure of the year model, but I will find out asap.

as long as it a liquid cooled they will fit in the trx. if its a 85 he will need to use all of the swingarm/axle/carrier parts.

ok I do know that it is an 86, so everything should bolt up right?

Yep, the 86 had the same rear end, you can basically unbolt the swingarm bolt from the ATC and bolt it right up to the TRX frame. And the motor will bolt up no problems also. The only problem I think you'll have is, I believe the rear shock reseivor hose is shorter on the ATC's so you might have to modify something for that.

Toms right about the hose too!!

Tell him to find a trx rear shock, not 100% positive about the 86 atc... but I know the 85 atc frame top rear shock mount(bushing) is wider and has to be modded to fit a trx frame (just throwin' that out there so you'll know to make sure and check;) )

Don't kill the ATC, sell it to someone who wants a trike. :(
