Tornados hitting member territory!

ya last weekend my uncles house was hit in iowa. there was nothing left. he was on the weather channel. hope they dont get hit again. what is with all these late season tornadoes:confused:

Weird weather, possibly global warming..

I was talking to gonehazardracing I think thats his username off the site 400ex28's neighbor and he said the power has been going on and off and its getting very nasty out, 400ex28 is stuck at school still.

wish everybody well, we hardly ever get tornadoes up here. the weather is real warm up here too. rainy as hell last couple days.

Yeah we had to stay after school an extra hour before we could leave because a tornado was on the ground about 15 minutes north west of us

just as you said that ed, my mom calls me in the living room and there is a tornado watch.

yeah im alright, when i got home there was 60mph winds and i saw like 2 funnel clouds on the way home so, i dont think any of them touched down... there was another one in owensboro heading our way also but it broke up, one near madison, and it was a F3 i think there was a few more i saw them on the news...... its still really windy outside at the moment

hey alex i may not even go to school tomorrow we all ended up pretty much goin to sleep in the hallways since we were in there from 240-330 just waitin to be cleared. supposedly there was supposed to be a tornado on cyprus dale rd which is only like a mile or 2 from my house and my good buddy lives down there so i will have to check it out and they said there was a funnel cloud on diamond and first avenue or something like that and then 15 seconds later they gave the all clear and told us to go home. i thought that was kind of wierd but o well i guess. hopefully tomorrow wont be so bad.

yeah everyone at my school was pissed when they made the announcement that we had to stay longer, lol

I was on the phone with a place I think they said was Kentucky, when I called I could hear the tornado sirens going off!! that was eerie on my end:eek2: I hope everything was OK on there end :(

i was in a tornado a mere 20 yrs ago...it aint fun...i feel for all of the victims of any weather

we had a tornado watch but i fell asleep shortly after it was issued. I heard a few touched down but im alright...

I was in a tornado when i was like 5 but dont remember it. it touched down like 100 feet from my house and rip some of my neighbors roofs off but nothing big. Seen my fair share of funnel clouds but man to see a tornado on the ground would really get to me :eek2:

if it hit 100ft fromt he house, you weren't in it...i was i the funnel and ended 100yds from where i started at...
