How good is TCS??

Ok, I am looking at buying a few different 250r's, and a lot of them have TCS shocks with rezzies on them. How good are the TCS compared to pep, elka, and axis??

Just as good untill you get into peps big bottle shocks and elkas elite series. TCS dosent have hi - low comp adjment.

TCS shocks feel just as good as AXIS, PEP, and ELKA. The only problem with TCS is they dont offer the same adjustments as others. They only offer a compresion adjustment and not rebound or high/low adj. compresion.

i love my tcs's. i had elkas on my quad for a while and honestly did NOT like them. when i put on my TCS's i was alot faster. They are also holding up awesome. Great shocks!!

I run TCS....my husband runs TCS, and my best competitor in the ITP Series runs TCS........excellent shocks!!!! My husband had AXIS last year and he says his TCS actually feel better. You can't judge any shock properly - though - if you buy them second hand....if they aren't set-up specifially for YOU and your set-up, they won't feel right.....

My TCS shocks were great shocks. I'd still be running them but i just got a new shocks sponsor. any shock that you adjust with a large knob is not a true high and low speed adjustable shock. Because it imposible to have that much adjustment.

Alright, thanks for setting me straight on TCS shocks. I was just worried that they were like no better than works or something like that. Now heres another question, would you go with Elka lont travel, or TCS standard travel? The 250r with TCS standad is a 265 motor, and +2+1 Lonestar a arms. The other R is Resleeved stock, with Duncan Porting, Suspension:
Houser +3 Long Travel A-Arms
Elka Quadruple Rate Shocks w/ Remote Rezzies (160lb A rider, heavy duty springs)

the rear on it is a TCS lt shock.

I think I am leaning towards the one with Elka fronts, because I can put in my own 265 for $150.

i like my tcs's alot better then my old elka's. but for longtravel elka vs std tcs, you'd prolly be better off with the l/t.

Well at least the one with Elka L/T has a TCS rear. The L/T one is more MX ready IMO, and it is only $3700, and a very nice quad. I guess its about time I went to a 2 stroke.

you cant go wrong with elka, plus id go ahead and get the 1 with elkas, being the other one may need a rebuild and has prolly been ran to hell, that way you can have a fresh 265 instead of a used 1, just my opinion
