Based on your post, I would advice you to not attempt this project.

mmm ok it was late. let me re-phrase this
I am planning on purchasing yz400 with carb-electronis-kicker-shifter-electronics everything. I know i will need an extended shaft. I know i will need a radiator and lines. But what else will i need besides to make my own engine mounts. I believe i have seen a couple kits that people sell.

There is alot more to it then just finding a way to put a radiator in there and trying to fab your own motor mounts..There is a lot of work and time involved..Its not easy and with being your first conversion it would take you alot of time to accomplish it. You need to have a very good understanding of measurments, welding and other things to accomplish it. Also you will not be able to do it all yourself..You will need a custom aluminum oil tank (unless you go with the wet sump kit, which I wouldnt), you need custom kicker extension (which you can buy from ECA, but they are really expensive or one can be made) custom exhaust, you need custom front motor mounts, a spacer and a custom sleeve for the rear of the motor, custom top and bottom motor mounts, and radiator mounts..Its not easy and not cheap to do..If you want to attempt it I will be than willing to help all I can, but weigh you options wisely..Its alot of work and down time..

i can get the yz motor for 850. Comes with carb, and all electronics. I have exactly that much. ATV fourplaysays they can do the conversion for 600 bucks but im not sure what all that includes? Would it be RTR then?
