Is that as tight as that piece fits in there? that sucks, I'm glad I made my own kit. I wouldn't use their piece for the upper frame rails under the seat. It makes that part of the frame too rigid and it'll crack right where the gusset ends. The bare kit is more cosmetic than it is functional. I just copied walsh's kit but am going to use 1/4" plate instead of chromoly tubing.

I sent them my frame last year so they could build the kits from. they put mine in for a good price and re pc'd it, the kit holds up good until you jump it. I had one crack after 3 laps and 2 more aboyt 4 months later.

the welds didn't look too bad (hard to tell under the pc) but they should have wrapped a piece around the weak spots they had my frame 3 months telling me we are working on building that piece and when I finally got it back they just put in that flat piece and it cracked over the gusset on both sides. Also I don't ride hard I'm 39 and just had back opperation and can't afford to crash (never crashed the quad after gusset kit)

I made mine using the pictures from the Walsh website. I have a full year on it with no cracks.
