Alright guys, need some help on this one.

We have the 2005 DRR DRX 50 and have recently replaced the original pipe with the new "replacement" pipe DRR provided with the expansion chamber. We replaced the roller weights in the front clutch, but have not made any other modifications to the machine. Carb appears very clean, getting good spark.

When machine is cold, it tends to start just fine with little effort (kick starts easier than electric start). Once running, it appears all systems are go. Good power, motor sounds great. After running a while just into the race, it misfires about 3 times then dies!! Run to crank it, very hard to crank at this point, but will finally crank. Takes off go a little ways, then misfires, and dies once again. This happened about 5 times until he finally made his two laps around. It has got me puzzled, so any help is appreciated.

i'd halfta say w/ the new pipe new jetting is also needed. sounds like a lean cond. causing overheating..
