i just bought a 03 preadator and love the power but it just started to smoke..... the guy before me changed the oil and he used 20w 50 and i called the dealer and they said to use 0w40 cuz everything else is too thick and will mess up the bearings i was wondering what kinda oil u all use????? does it sound like i need rings allready:(

I run amsoil 0w-40 in mine. Always have. What color is the smoke?

If your rings are shot, find yourself a HC piston. Those come with new rings and all. It is a good mod and if you are going into the motor, might as well.

it is blue smoke... should this new of a 4 wheeler need rings already??? also how much is a hc piston with the rings?? does it come with all the gastets i need.thanks
