Hey, Im currently in Mooresville NC attending Nascar Tech and this past weekend i went up home and did some Racin, well i noticed that not being able 2 ride near as much has takin some tolls on me, i tired out quicker and my body just couldent seem 2 take as much as usual and i figured that im goin outta shape.......so Im gonna start runnin 2-3 times a week and hopefully that will help alittle but what i want is other ways besides riding that i could stay in shape and pretty much keep my endurance for Racing while im away from the Quad....thanx

cardio is definately important, but so is weightlifting, but not just upperbody.

run on an eliptical for 30 minutes and you will lose 2 pounds.

I'm going to have to call bs on this one! 2 pounds is 7000 calories. There is no way you'll burn 7000 calories in 30 minutes. Maybe around 300 calories.

Any kind of cardio is good and definitely add weight training. Bally Total Fitness has exercise plans on their website that you can check out. Lots of people use www.bodybuilding.com too.
