I'm going to be installing my used Edelbrock carb today and was wondering where to start with the needle. it has a 17e in it now and it came with 13 and 14 needles. From what a have read is that the higher the needle the richer it is. My quad has a 10-8-1 piston with a bigger bore(416) and a HRC cam with some play porting done. I will stick with the 17e needle to be sfe at firt but how many clicks should i start out at with the tool on top? Should i start out on the richest setting and work my to leaning it out. The guy who had this carb before said he fouled plugs so he sold it. Looks like brand new and is the pumper series carb. Thanks for any help you may give. and i hope it's worth the money.
