Depends on where you live and how many people want the 2005 450r. I think lots of people are saving for the 2006. Your price would be to high if I was going to get a 2005. I would suck it up and get a 2006 instead. I just sold my 2004 with elka shocks and stuff for 3600 and it was a hard sell.

I think it is a bit to much for around where I live. I dont know how they sell else where but in Mid Missouri a person can get an 05 off the floor for just under 6K and we can get 06's for about $6,500.

I know it is sad because we put all this money into them and then we cant sell them, the GNCC pros put about 20K in there quads and get 8-9K out of them at the end of the year. I have about 10K in minke and it would probaly only bring about 5k

I guess you could give it a shot, either here or on ebay because it never hurts to try. If you search the for sale section you will see lots of people strugling to sell there 450r's for 4k.

Good Luck,
Josh

IN GA for a 05 used. The lowest is 4300 and the highest is just under $6000.These are out of the cycletrader.
The southeast is hard to sell newer hondas, b/c of the dealership in TN who is practically giving them away. Brand new 05 450R for $4983 OTD.
I dont think aftermarket helps at all. If I was you I would put the bike back stock, and throw your parts on ebay

Why are you sell it anyways??? what quad would you buy besides a honda... so far the 2006 don't sound too promising.. from alot of people i talk to they are already having problems with it.. I have a 2004 and i rather put more aftermarket parts on my bike then sell it for a 2006... When you go to buy a racing quad plan on keeping it. unless you really need sell it cause the value goes down as soon as you take it out of the dealership.... So what i wanta know is Why sellling ? :ermm:

well the true is i really want to sell it is because i want to save up to move out...... i do not really want to sell it. im not putting it out by the road or anything just word of mouth. $5500 is pretty much, how much i owe on it.

I agree with the others, that you may be alittle high. I would put it in the $4500-$5000 range. I agree with the others about returning to stock and selling your parts here or ebay. I like my o4, but I knew with all the changes on the 06 that I would be in trouble if I chose to sell.
