Best XC tires??

Hey guys, what is the best and most durable XC tire out there?? I had some standard ITP Holeshots that were on the quad when i bought it, but i ripped them to shreds in only 3 or 4 rides. I want a tire that wont wear fast, but still gets decent traction in the desert.

ITP holeshot HD are the best xc tire out there. That compared to I-razrs razr2 kendra klaws and hole shot xc. The HDs are the stongest and you will not get them stuck plus you can get your machine to still fish tail in the corners. HD = A+

my hd's had 3 punctures in 1 tire, and 2 in the other...after 2 races...maxxis razr2, and razr all the way :macho

We ran 6 GNCC races, Numerous Local HareScrambles, 6 hours of ATV America at Rausch Creek, and lots of practice riding on one set of RAZOR2 all year with out a single hole or leak. We will be running a new set next year too!

I have never had a problem with my HDs and its hard to beleive you put three punctures in one tire and im sure what ever happend to puncture the hds it would of happend to razr2 there not very different.

my razr2 tires have been thro about 6 races, and all my practice riding, no problems with them at all

There is only 1 Razr2. The company Maxxis, makes the three different types, which are Razr1, Razr2, and I-Razr. That may be what you are thinking about.

i dont see where one tire is really more puncture prone than another. all the tires mentioned are great tires, you might have good luck with one, and bad with another. ive never had any problems with any ITP or maxxis tires

i ran hds all year with no flats or ne thing but i hate the front hds they dont turn as good as the raz2s IMO but the rears are excellent. ill be runnin hd rears and razr2 fronts next year :macho

ill be sticking to my razr2/razr rears and razr2 fronts :blah:

the hd's look like they would hook up well in the rear, i have the rears but ive never used them, being that i had a very bad experiance with all of those punctures in the front ones

holeshot XC had them for a year and finally punctured one and rode on it all day before plugging it

My HD's seem to wear really quick. The lugs also break off in chuncks. I've got Kenda Klaws on the rear now and they are holding up great, great price on them too!

LOL that is not right I am gonna build another dale for xc racing maybe next year! I am loving mx would like to do some 6 hour races. And oh yeah for all concerned parties I ran razr2's for 2 years with no flats on the same set of tires!!!

razr 2s by far the best i razrs are only good for like 3 races and razrs are good tires

I have a set of Razr 2s and they are 21 f and 20 r. They are the only tires I have ever had that didnt leak and wear quickly.Holeshots grip better due to the softer compounds but they wear and chunk terribly.My quad seems to ride really ruff in the rear with 4 lbs of air.Does anybody have a pressure recomendation for these razr 2s for my 400 ex?Keep in mind I have no beadlocks.Thanks guys.:D
