waste of time doing a search on this one as your fuel octane is a lot lower in the states.
here in the uk the lowest octane we can get from the pumps is about 96 and the highest we can get is 99, what compresion piston can i run as i have just purchased a 452 stroke kit using a 12:1 piston.

run that 99 or some 110

you could probably run 13 or 13.5 with 99 and have no problems!

99 may not be true 99tho. I guess that when I go up to the pump and buy 98 I am really only getting like 93. just what i have heard.


and I have heard the same for vp race fules. how c12 isnt 112 but actually like 107 or somthing. dono if it is true.

if thats true, we are getting jipped! but since i still run my 12:1 on what is supposed to be 93, and it still runs fine, im not too worried:p

As to your post, usually the pump says minimum octane, or atleast here in Canada they don't try and screw you by not telling you what the minimum has to be... It should be that way on any pump...
