Over 50 racers attended all 7 races this year and were eligible for the Ironman drawing. Little Lizzy Austin from the 90 stock class had her name drawn as the winner.

These guys earned a special award called the Early Bird Award as they were the first to arrive at almost every race. Even setting up their tent right were the track was to be finished at one race LOL . It contained four pieces that when put together made a fire pit.

Its so sad to think 2005 has come to an end and there is so many people to thank for such a wonderful year at the Iowa Series. It has been such a blast and every race we would meet new faces and add them to our racing family. I have never met such a group of friendly people that would go out of their way to help another racer if in trouble. It is wonderful. Will miss you all this long winter but we will keep in touch. The Burrows family and the Gilman Gang

Wow, what can some one say to the Iowa series that hasn't been already said and still make an impact on how good they are doing with the seires. Just by looking at the pics that Monica sends one can tell that the Iowa series has stepped it up one large step. Really ; to hear the stories and see the #'s speaks for it self and any other series that thinks they will compete with the fast growing iowa seires with out stepping it up also is only fooling themselves. My hat is off to all who go to the Iowa series for they are the ones spending the gas and time to make it great.
Will be seeing you all at 1 or not 2 of them next year.

2006 in the Iowa series looks to be another awesome year. New tracks being added and the Heartland Hare Scramble Classic is what I'm really looking forward too. Everyone that hasn't been to Iowa needs to come check out at least one race. I know it's a far drive for alot of ya but well worth it and it may even make you decide to move closer to Iowa or closer to us!!!!!!
