Anybody else on here play high school football? My team is 9-1 and we just won our first playoff game. I think we are ranked 8th or 7th in the state and 611 in the nation. How is everyone else doing?

I played HS football my sophomore and junior year. We sucked, never broke .500 (before I played and after I played). I have no idea where they rank today.

ive been playing since i can remember, I'm a sophmore right now. Our school football reputation has been pretty crapp for the past 19 years. We havent had a wining season in 19 years. This year we went 5-4 and almost made the play offs but our luck didnt turn out too well. My class (2008) was undeafeated 2 years in a row but this year we had a losing season due to some coaching and player issues but hopefully next year we will go at least 6-3 and make the play offs for the first time in 20 years. Senior year i have some pretty high hopes for us

i played the last game of my life 2 weeks ago, we ended up 6-5 lost in first round,we just lost too many chances and gave them more,it's really hard to keep playing knowing, theres the last time to put the pads on and strap up and play on the field under the lights, with 1:35 in the 4th quater and ur down by 13 points and ur on defense, and as u turn around on ur on 14 yard line and just watch the seconds of ur football career dissappear off the clock, I'll never forget all my football memories or all the heart that goes into it.... My advice to any younger players is, Play to 110% of ur potential and love the game, you'll only under stand how much it's worth when u know u can't do it anymore, it's a once in a life time chance, so treasure it

we were 12-1 until we got to regionals and we played really well going back in forth in scoring and then couldnt get back to the endzone the final score ended up being 42-35 playing a team that was supposed to walk all over us.

where do you go to see where you rank in the nation? like top 100 or more

Oops, I just did a search on "2005 high school football national rankings" and that's what came up. I just registered on that maxpreps.com and we're 12-0, 4th in the state (down from 3rd last week and were #1 earlier in the year) and are 33rd in the nation (down from 22nd last week).

i hope my senior year isnt the last time i put pads on. i want to play at the college level at a division 2 school. i would love ot play at d1 but thats not realistic. I cant even imagine how our seniors felt when we got the news we didnt make the play offs. I dont think there is anything like high school football.

13-0, #1 in state for our division, state is thurday! its our fifth state apperance since 1999, where we got runner up in 1999, and won 3 straight from 2000-2002, we should be able to bring home the gold again this thursday!

I don't play football but we have pretty good football teams in GA
in Dublin,GA they only got 3 points scored on them in their season and they set a record for most scored points in the stateof GA

Our varsity had a decent season, 5-4....went to state last year and graduated a good group of seniors....our frosh team went 1-8..the only reason for the win was because we played with sophmores the last game.....I sat out most of the season with a severely bruised femur, but made it back for the last few games:chinese:

Class A..Minnesota football..we're (Wabasso) playing at the Metrodome for state semifinals, and hopefully make it in the finals!!!! We are on a roll......:D

Our mascot is a bluebird. :rolleyes: Our shcool just got football this year. We went 6-3. Not bad I guess for a first year. We beat Missouri Military Academy Varsity 36-0 for our last game of the season. I got in a fight on the field with thier running back. Not sure why it started but it sure was fun till the refs pulled us apart. :D - Im #54 - DT

Small school. We got a commitee together and raised $58,000 for it though, so the community supports us. The school board shot down the idea for like 10 years, but once we started getting pledges, they couldnt really say no. :D

i dont play. but the year before last we were district and state champs for 3 years in a row. last year lost the 2nd play off game. we have only lost one game this year. first play off game was last week. we beat the only undefeated team.

chigger, those pics are frusterating. I cant believe i had another 248 days until i can play again. Make some kid wish he didnt come in my zone or my gap. Thats the best feeling in the world, playing line backer and your man is the slot reciever and you rcked him so bad the previous play he's too scared to catch the ball.... i love football

we were kinda a sleeper this year goin 2-5 reg season i believe it was then we got to playoffs and won bi distric was gonna go to state but we jus couldnt do it...kicked *** first half and dunno wat happened second half...our freshman team from this year is goin to state either year after next or the year after it definately.....be watchin for us...we went undefeated last year and undefeated this year bringin our total to 12 or 13-0 our junior class is kickass but our sophomores strait up suck

My senior year in high school, we were 0-13. Dead last. We sucked.

The year before that, we were 2-11. We still sucked.

Now, 10 years later, our school has just gottend past the .500 mark for the first time EVER. Wahoo!

My school has made it to the play offs the last 4 years.....and CHOKED EVERYTIME. My first night i don't have to work and finally get to see a football game of my school we are playing for #1spot in the conference...we get raped like 52-14 it was 34-0 at the half i just left. Basically our whole team graduated last year. This year half of JV swings just so we can have enough to play, Although we do have one of Stoudamire's cousins as the quarterback and pointgaurd for Basketball. He has been called out by recruits for Football from: UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Michigan, Nebraska, Miami, Arizona, Air Force Academy, Portland State
