z 250 carbon fiber gas tank cover

my question is the carbon fiber fuel tank cover , is it a sheet like decal you place over it or is it a new cover that you take off the old one put this one on. thanks

im pretty sure the tank covers are a replacement piece and you take out the old one and put the carbon fiber one in;)
