I have a oil leak coming from the shift shaft on my new bike. The seal appears to be loose. Has anyone else experienced this on the 06 ? Thanks

This happins on the bikes (where your motor came from) easy fix pull that one out. new one goes in easy. put one in my crf soon after getting the bike then never put another one in. I hoped this would not have been a problem on the trx but I guess your proof that it might not be. :)

Hope that helps.:D

Let your dealer pop it in for you so they have record of what happened and Honda pays for the seal if that is the case.

I had the dealer put a seal in mine when it was less than 30 days old.
then it didn't leak for 9 months.now a seal only
lasts about 30 days then it leaks again.I
am going to go get a double lipped seal from the
local bearing shop.
anyone have any other ideas?

oil level is correct.
quad runs perfect.
both oils are not mixing together.
I run 80w bel ray gear saver in the tranny(red in color)
honda gn4 in the engine.
