This is my newest project. I just got back from my first test run. We spent 7 days at little sahara, and I couldn't be happier with this quad. I love my built z400, but after riding this quad I only rode the Z400 for about 20 min the whole trip. The zilla still needs some tuning and some final detail work, but whe's coming around. Let me know what you think.

Thats funny I was just thinking about finding a 500 2 stroke motor to try & put in a z400 frame. Was wondering how it would work. I would definately prefer the lt500 motor. How was it to fit?

Oh yeah if I could get it to turn out looking like that good, I would be happy.

wow thats so nice how was it putin that motor in did it fit right away? or did you have to build the motor in the frame

There was some frame mods needed. We had around 40 hrs of fab on the frame. The biggest mod was to get the carb and air filter to fit. Notching out the frame for the kick start was kinda tricky. Luckily my buddy that helped me is a much better welder then I. The rear of the motor fit right in the swingarm. This made keeping the motor sth easier. Other then that it was just a lot of moving brackets & making mounts. If you can weld and have the time combo is well worth the work. This is by far my favorite quad I've ever ridden.
