How much do people usually shave off of the stock head to gain compression.

First off I wouldn't even worry about shaving your head because your compression is so low, you need a new top end rebuild. To answer your question AFTER you rebuild it, 40 thousands is the usual on shaving the head. Just to let you know, you will probably need to run race gas after that mod, do a compression check just to make sure after the rebuild.

jeez u can get 97 oct? thas good to 200lbs atleast. i run 91oct at 187lbs.

97 ron is ( i think ) our standard unleaded .. although we have to pay about 98pence a litre ... thats about $2 ...! can also get 'super' unleaded with higher ron ..

so how much could i shave my head ..?
