there measuring seems a bit to be desired.. there products dont always line up well.. or take a custom "tweak" to make it fit right.

I ride solid flint rock trails with the DG Fat series on the low *** swinger and it takes hell!!! It hasnt bent at all but is chipped to hell! the plate was easy to install and lined up suprisingly well. the DG chassis skids dont line up as well. I have them on 3 different quads. If you are going to put them on and leave them then they are fine though. And the fat series somewhat protects the oil lines into the case. But remember you will have grass and leaves piling up on the plate and are HELL to get off.

I also have the dg fats on my 400ex. They bolted right on w/no tweaking. I also ride very rocky terrain and the swingarm plate is doing very well.

Those PRM skids look good but they dont wrap around alittle like the DG...

Also Ive read the DG skids offer the most ground clearance..

Thanks,
Dustin

I have the DG Baja series swingarm skid and it is pretty rugged I have slammed a few big rocks and seems to be holding up quite well a good buy only 100.00

I had pro-armor on my ex, tougher than a pine knot. It fit flush, went on with no problems too. It took MANY hard slams, didn't even hurt it :) I was very satisfied, if I ever get another quad, I will deffinately have pro-armor skids.

I ride alot of rocks and have hit some nasty stuff with mine.problem is it sits to low and is flat across the bottom
so it hits alot more than other "wrap around" fit plates like
AC.I also had to notch the holes for fit.personaly I would by
an AC or a pro armour if I were you.Never seen a PRM in use
yet.

look for a thickness of 3/16 of an inch or better

Hey,

I purchased the DH engine and swingarm skidplates, and a "Mod Quad" chainguard.. also i got the trailtech computer with the billet mount for it from PRM atv..

I got the CDI rev box from atvparts.biz and the sparks timing advance.

In the next week ill be ordering the K&N power up kit with the dyno jets....(i have no idea how to jet a carb.... :ermm: )

thanks for the replies,
PS - the DG baja is 3/16
