Jetting

ok i know this has been covered a thousand times, but humor me. With the mods below my bike idle's fine. but when i start climbing in rpm it sputters and runs like crap(sputters, knocks, surges, etc.) The plug is pretty wet, would movin the needle down fix it or does anyone know what jets to use for my setup? Any help would be appreciated.

oh it has a DG silencer on it right now. forgot to add that

what needle do you have in their? I would suggest you move the clip up 1 or 2 positions which will not let as much gas in as you currently are.

ya thats what i meant you move the clip up so the needle sits lower. i dont' know i need to check all the jets, the garage is a mess though. just tryin to get a baseline to go off of. thanks

main is 175
needle is dgh or somethin
clip on all notches runs like ****
it idles fine but under power it hiccups and back fires and won't run worth a crap. I'm starting to think its a ignition problem

i had same problem ,it was bad stator,started and idled fine but put under load at open throttle and poped and sputtered ,thought it was jetting but was stator

ok i got it. jetting is good now. it was a loose wire connection to the coil. wow i feel dumb. anyway it runs like a madman now. scary as hell:devil: .... just the way i like it:D
